2016 has been a busy and blessed year, filled with so many things for which everyone here at Southern Surgical Arts is thankful. This holiday week we’d like to list some of the many wonderful things that have happened this year, just in time for Thanksgiving!
- New faces on the staff! This year we’ve been fortunate to welcome Vincent Gardner, a board-certified, award-winning cosmetic surgeon who is also a specialist in the treatment of venous disorders. Dr. Gardner comes to SSA with a wealth of experience that is already benefitting the quality of life of our patients every day. We are also excited to announce the addition of a new aesthetician, Neko Shae. Watch this blog for more information about Neko in the coming weeks.
- The Vein Institute. Over the past several years, we’ve noticed a growing need for a treatment center fully devoted to treating unsightly and painful vein disorders. With the addition of Dr. Gardner, we were able to realize our dream of providing this care to our patients. The Vein Institute is a state-of-the-art practice focused on comprehensive treatment of vein diseases, including spider veins, varicose veins, RLS and more. We are happy to be able to provide even more well-rounded care to our patients with this addition.
- Strong Partnerships. At Southern Surgical Arts, we are devoted to several important causes, one of the nearest and dearest of which is heart health. We are especially interested in spreading the word about women’s heart health, because heart disease is currently the #1 killer of women. Earlier this year, we partnered with the American Heart Association to promote heart health during our 2nd annual IgniteRed event. We look forward to continuing this tradition in the coming years, especially as our Marketing Director, Jennifer Deal, will chair the Chattanooga Go Red for Women committee in 2017.
- Our patients and our community. Chattanooga is such a special place for us to call “home.” A vibrant arts community with strong roots, tradition, and history, Chattanooga is a hometown anyone would feel proud of! We are so grateful to our patients and the community for embracing us and allowing us to be part of their lives. We are aware of the privilege and responsibility of this honor and we are thankful for it every day.
- New procedures. If you’ve been reading our blog for any length of time, you know how much we LOVE to announce new procedures! Not only did we add a host of vascular treatments this year through the addition of The Vein Institute, we also added a cutting-edge non-surgical skin tightening device, INFINI, and a revolutionary new treatment for fat reduction called And, as if those weren’t exciting enough, we will soon be adding a gold-standard treatment for hair loss, NeoGraft, that works on both men AND women. (Watch this blog for more details in the coming weeks!)
- The Best of the Best Awards. For several years now, the people of Chattanooga have voted on their favorites in a variety of professional and community categories, and Southern Surgical Arts has continued to be represented. This year, Dr. Chad Deal was named Best of the BestCosmetic Surgeon, and Dr. Carey Nease was a finalist. We are so thankful to know that our patients think of our surgeons so highly. Knowing this inspires them to constantly try to surpass themselves in providing artistic, natural results and outstanding patient relations. We hope that you will continue to honor Dr. Nease, Dr. Deal, and Dr. Gardner with your votes in the future.
- Our families. At Thanksgiving and all year ‘round, we are so grateful to have the support and love of our families to help us do the work that we do. From the family members we were born with, the ones we gained through marriage, and/or the ones we have gathered close through friendship, we love and appreciate you all.
We’d love to hear your thoughts. Please share what you are grateful for this Thanksgiving season in the comments. And from all of us, to all of you, Happy Thanksgiving! Don't forget our special offers during this holiday season.
